auto repair? We have a 2000 saturn sc, unfortunately when we recently took it in to get the alignment fixed we found out that it has a bent frame and the alignment repair could not be completed. The tire shop suggested we take it to a body shop for repair. My husband had a bit of an oops on a patch of ice back in february and we had no idea the frame was bent because there wasn't any body damage. We can't claim it on insurance(long story). Can anyone give me an idea, just a ballpark figure of what this "might" cost to fix? I know it'll depend on the extent of the damage but any ideas or experiences would be helpful. I don't want to faint when we get our real repair estimate. my insurance isn't refussing to pay for it, we can't file a claim because the car wasn't on our policy at the timne, it was on my parents because they still legally owned the car at the time but its on ours now and we have the title. its just one of those situations

I called roadside assistance and was towed to an auto repair shop. They told me that I needed a master and slave cylinder for my clutch for a Pontiac Transam. I was told it would take 7 hours of labor. I was skeptical, but I went ahead and had them perform the repairs, because I had to get back to work and did not want to risk getting in trouble. Plus, I figured if I charged the amount, I could dispute later. Well, later I did dispute. I tried the Florida State Attorney General, they could not help me, so I tried the BBB. They told me that they could not arbitrate because the auto repair was not a member. So I am looking for a consumer advocacy group that will arbitrate my case. I am so disappointed in the system. I thought for sure that the Attorney General or BBB would help me.

Can anyone recommend an auto repair shop to fix brakes on a BMW 323Ci? I have a 200 BMW 323Ci (coupe). The brake sensor light indicator came on which means I need new pads at least. BMW dealership always replaces pads AND rotors and quoted $1045(+tax) for my car.
